I`ve been trying to donate through paypal and always get a message as to incorrect typing of the amount....am I that "thick"...am I missing the obvious.....I tried doing it exactly the same as their example.....but still get the message about punctuation when entering the amount...does it convert funds automatically if I put it in Canadian funds....It`s my first time using paypal...any help would be appreciated.

I forgot how I did it, did you try typing just a whole number like 10 or 20 or whatever you're donating? I thought I was giving in dollars and it came out to euros so I just adjusted the amount i gave so it came out to the dollars i'd had in mind. i didn't have any trouble with punct. don't use a $ or anything, just type a number with or without the decimal and see if that works??? (just trying to help)

Well George, That got me farther into the paypal deal...Had to start jumping through hoops to join up, get verified, add credit card, etc. and at the end of it all still can`t get money out today. I thought you could just use a credit card without joining up but I haven`t been able to pull that off. Now the credit card option does not come up when I log on to the donation site. However I will get there eventually ....
Thanks!
Ron.

Similar problem to what I encountered.
Did I happen to mention how much I dislike Paypal?

Hi Guys.
You don’t need to register to use your credit card.

When you click on Donate button, just type in how much you wish to donate, then click on the button underneath called “Click Here”

This is the buttons described as…

If you do not currently have a PayPal account “CLICK HERE”

After this point it’s the same process as you would find on any shopping cart.

Regards.
Sharp.

Just checked up on the finances, and we currently stand at….

€1,278.80 EUR which is a fine healthy figure too.
We are certainly on the path to an easy 5 years hosting, and the ability to give Daz a slap on the arse and send him off shopping for new php stuff :-)

Regards.
