I think you should be turning on the Zero 4 before you boot your computer. That's what I do with my PC laptop, and it works perfectly every time on my Zero8. What up Crucial?

They have, in fact, updated the Operating System which addresses a lot of the issues of the Zero4. One of them being the monitor balance. I have noticed an increase of monitor volume as well.
