Why don't you simply mute the sound in combi mode when you don't need it?

In my opinion, one simple feature that would really improve pedal functionality a lot would be if you could invert the polarity of each parameter for each channel in the midi filtering page: this way you could be able to do crossfading between sounds by inverting the polarity of the expression pedal ...

I use this one:

it's rock solid, folds easily, big space for pedals. If it is available in your country I absolutely recommend it.

Need help recording from an external output

I am planning to use my Kronos to record the rehersals of my band. What I wanted to do should be quite simple: hook all the instruments to the mixer (keyboard included), send the total mix to the Kronos external outputs and record and audio file. The problem is that, even though I set the Kronos to ...

Recreating a rhytmic pattern using Karma + Step Sequencer

Hi everybody. I am trying to recreate the rhytmic pattern of the cowbell in I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston. I'd rather not use sequencer mode. I wouldn't either use a sample of the whole pattern, beacause I want to be able to change the beat on the fly if needed. I've tried to obtain ...

Have you seen this video?

I haven't tried to recreate it on the Kronos, but there seem to be good tips.

SanderXpander, I think your overall setup is a brilliant idea. I wanted to do the same thing with backing vocals/vocoder but haven't tried yet. So you run L, R and 2 outputs all through DIs, does this mean that when you run vocals through the Kronos the mic level signal gets converted to line level ...

Hi Dan, the main thing I use the inputs for is listening to an external audio source for studying purposes. I find it very handy to jam along an mp3 and listening to everything through the same pair of headphones, without the need to use a mixer. I haven't done this yet, but I plan to use the ...

I found this thread really interesting, thank you guys. I have never thought of this problem because I have always used unbalanced cables with my Kronos, those that I had used with my previous keyboards that didn't have a balanced option. I wanted to switch to a balanced connection and this is a ...

I decided to buy an UPS too. I found this to be cheaper (and smaller and lighter) than the APCs: http://www.nilox.it/scheda/nilox/17NXGCSI14001.htm# (sorry, the descriprion is only in Italian) my doubt is that it says it is not suitable for "active PFC" devices. Does anybody know whether this is the ...

When I move it I hold it around the middle, with one hand on the front and the other on the back, grabbing it by both ends is quite difficult indeed. I don't think that holding it the way I do I am putting pressure where I shouldn't, almost all the pressure is on the bottom cover. By the way Angel ...

I have the pedal assigned to CC#4. Not all sounds benefit from an expression pedal. For example: piano. While you wouldn't want the piano to be controlled by an expression pedal, you may want to be able to control the volume of strings or a pad layered underneath. Assign the pad to a stereo limiter ...
