Re: Korg Kronos 1 for sale

I'm selling my Kronos, finally. I've loved it and it is in great condition, I've added RAM and have a couple of good external string and orchestra libs on as well. I'm based in France and I'm happy to accept offers for this. Let me know if interested Sean if you are going to post an ad, including ...

look into the time period and into late charanjit singh and his synths. He was the go to synth guy (session player) at that period for a long time and has likely played most of the songs. also note that the sounds on records (especially 80's) are bit processed. for the front strings try combining a ...

I think that the sequencer is great - sure it has limitations, but you can do amazing stuff with it if you spend the time to really get to grips with it - it is powerful!!

The Korg environment is really quite stark and not geared to general user friendliness - however, once learnt, with help from forums and a little reading of the manual, it does quite quickly become intuitive and you learn to wonder why other manufacturers don't adopt it. I came from the Technics ...

In my mind (and it may be entirely in my mind) the on screen sliders seem to have gotten smaller since the upgrade meaning finger control is not likely to be much use (at least for my fat little fingers)

Sequencer bug in 3.0.2

I'm not sure how to contact Korg with bugs, but the sequencer has a bug on the update...if you sequence with the metronome for a track and then turn the volume off the metronome for the other tracks, the metronome comes back at odd places!! Not entirely a problem, but annoying if you are sequencing ...

1st Kronos freeze in live performance!!

Had a nightmare matinee set yesterday. A very heavily sequenced musical ground to a bit of a halt when the Kronos froze moving from one sequence to another using a switch pedal. Never had the issue (had it a fair bit using the M3 which is why I moved to Kronos). The 2 min 20 secs load time were an ...

Re: New / updated hardware for the Kronos 2

I only mention this, because if it mainly a software upgrade, then I don't really see the point of buying a new Kronos - if, however, there are some new and upgraded hardware bits and pieces (and yes, that is the technical term) then I might seriously consider this.... sure, that makes sense ...

Check this thread http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=93564&sid=ad64cf3699da012adfc1f47c0be4334f Yes, but that thread hasn't had a specific look at new hardware added - it may be that Korg has redesigned some physical components to add speed/future proof/add power...I would be ...

New / updated hardware for the Kronos 2

Very excited about OS v3 - has some excellent ideas implemented and it extends the life of this fantastic keyboard/workstation. I was just wondering, though, whether the hardware has new configurations (aside from the screen and the case) - what new / updated parts are being prepared for the new ...
