I agree 100% that DAW integration is the one area where the Kronos fails.

Has anyone had good success with either of the solutions mentioned to integrate the Kronos as a plug in within Logic Pro X:

Sound Quest Editor or Vienna Ensemble Pro 6 ?

Thanks

Keith Emerson: Standing Rick Wakemann: Standing Geoff Downes: Standing Dennis DeYoung: Standing I think the rule is that if you are a pure piano player or a B3 player, you may sit at your instrument. If you are a rocker, you get that keyboard up on a stand at a height that will let you move around ...

How to save a single sound as a PCG??

The manual describes how to save all, or save a bank of sounds. Through trial and error, I can save an individual patch by selecting SAVE PCG, then deselecting all the banks, drums, global, etc that do not affect my single sound. There must be an easier way to save a single patch?? Thanks in advance ...

Hi, I have a question about the PCG for "Never Been Any Reason". It's a great patch, but seems to be missing the big vibrato/LFO that occurs at the end of the synth solo. I would have expected this to be controlled by the the XY joystick/modwheel. If it is not in the patch, can someone explain how I ...

Never been any reason Head East

My band wants to cover this song. I hear three different keyboard parts: Organ, MiniMoog with short portamento and filter sweep, MiniMoog with long portomento and a very pronounced LFO/vibrato at the end of the synth solo. I know you guys have played this tune: have you approached this as a split ...

Has anyone had good experience using the Kronos Editor 3.0 with 32 Lives in a 64 bit DAW, such as Logic?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Every time there is a new upgrade, I pray it will include a useful 64 bit editor that would allow the Kronos to be used as plug in for DAW recording. •The KRONOS Plug-in Editor is compatible with DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) and other applications which have support for the VST and AU audio p ...

I use rubberized shelf liner for a non-slip surface.

You can either drape a piece over the back edge of the Kronos, or apply it to the base of the nanopad [or other device you want to be handy, on top of your board], or BOTH !!

Works really well, never leaves a mark.

Hi Steven,

Thanks for your great work on these awesome combis!

I've purchased all three of the available combis and would be very interested in obtaining all three in single PCG bank. I understand this is available for new purchasers.

Thanks for considering!

Like many of you, I am 55+, play both live and in studio with Kronos. For the poll, I voted for 'studio' to try to demonstrate that we need better DAW integration !! Please, please, please: a 64-bit editor that would let us use the Kronos as a DAW plug in! Lots of other synths have this....why not ...
