MicroSTATION live performance: save overall sequence volume?
Hi, I'm using sequenced original songs on the MicroSTATION for live performance. I load the songs into the Micro in the same order as the set list, and that's working really well. My only problem is the overall volume/level of the songs varies (although I tried to record with the same drum volume on ...

MicroSTATION live performance: save overall sequence volume?
Oops, haven't been here in a while and I see this post should be moved to the MicroSTATION forum ... but I don't know how. Nice work
Hi,
Nice job. I appreciate all the work you did. I use the MicroSTATION on live original music shows, and I will be using it on a studio recording later this year. But for cover gigs, I still kinda like my Yamaha Portatone. Less work, more fun.

Microstation grid sequencing
Hi, I like the MS grid sequence mode, but I think I'm missing something. It seems to only create one four-beat measure and is best suited for drum patterns. So is there any way to create a one-measure drum pattern and then create a variation of the pattern for the next measure? THANKS IN ADVANCE. 8)

Knob 4
Answered my own question after searching the three PDF guides. It's a shame you have to go through all this to find a simple answer.
Use Knob 4 instead of the up and down arrow keys, and the beats per minute change instead of the beats per second.
Finally got my first song started. Yay!

Microstation tempo settings
Arggggh, Trying to sequence a song with my new microstation, and I find setting the tempo to be annoying. The time is set in beats per minute:beats per second. I only need to set the beats per minute, but it makes me go through the beats per second. Tired of holding my finger down -- am I missing ...

thnx
Hey rrricky,
damn, you got some stuff! i'm a minimalist; hope to perform w/just microstation and microsynth. I was going out with just the synth and a band, but i'm ready to return to my electronic solo roots. (or read that, tired of trying to hold a band together)
Thnx for the good info.

Microstation SD card and live performance
Hi, I'm new with the microstation, but mid-level experienced at sequencing. The recommended SD card is only 2GB. That doesn't seem like much to me. I hope to perform live sets using my microstation -- and I'm wondering if anyone is actually doing that with just 1 SD card per set. Realizing it may ...

Save to SD card?
Hi,
I'm also a newbie, just started sequencing. The guides say you can only save a song to an SD card.

It's not in MY manual
Thank you VERY much!
This is not in the PDF manual downloaded from the Korg site. My synth is brand new and I was going nuts trying to figure this out.
