microSTATION Forum
Hi. Post here to request a microSTATION forum. If enough people ask, then we'll probably get one.
In the meantime you can post all things microSTATION in this thread.
I bought one about 6 months ago, and its the best thing i've ever owned.

Microstation changes program unexpectedly
Hi,
I have a Korg M3 connected to a Microstation. What I do is to play Microstation sounds using the M3 as a controller. I also did the same with a Yamaha Clavinova. The problem I´m having is that sometimes the program is changed unexpectedly, even when I´m playing. The first thing that came to my mind is that the Yamaha was sending change program messages thru the midi cable (it happened first with the yamaha) but today it happened twice with the M3. I disabled the change program message from the Global settings to avoid the situation, but it still happening. Have you experienced something like this? Sorry if this is not the right place to post this.

Re: Microstation changes program unexpectedly
did you write the global setting to memory? because usually if you turn it off, it goes back to whatever was saved. Also, in SEQ mode, under track parameters in the MIDI filter pages, is there a parameter to filter out program changes there?mcastillo wrote:Hi,

Count me in for a dedicated MS forum. It took me awhile to figure everything out, but now I know my way around the MS fairly well. This machine was definitely money well spent.
