Hi!

I have had some thoughts of selling my Triton and get an M3 instead, but then I always come to the conclusion that I can´t replace my MOSS, and that´s why I still play the Triton and not the M3... But, then again - I could have both the Triton/Moss and the M3 someday (hopefully).

I never wrote an explanation to why I haven´t been on for a while, so I guess I have to elaborate myself... Here it goes: 1. I have learned to play the guitar for a bit, thus the Triton have been set a side... 2. My child said that we should buy a game and I said "not a lousy game that we will not ...

Ahh... Nice to see that I am remembered after all this time... I´m still here and have popped in from time to time... And... I´m still experimenting with sounds, and have got an arsenal of new toys. Sitting at work right now and was totally unaware that someone out there missed me ;) Glad to see t ...

Hi Daz! I´m fine, thank you, and I hope that you are too. I have been busy with my AKAI S5000 and MicroKorg and other cool synths, so I haven´t really had the time to visit here so often as I would. This 1-bit recording seems very interesting. I wonder how large the file will be when recording 30 s ...

Hi! Been a while... This thing looks astounding! But, it´s a bit confusing with this 1-bit thing. I recall the (C)ommodore Amiga using 8-bit sampling quality, and now you say that this 1-bit is better than almost everything!? Have I missed something, or should I rather not compare this technology ...

Thanks for the offer Jerry! I tried to sort things out myself, but unfortunately with no luck... I´ve read the structure, and even the malfunctioning ones begin with this: All_patches: F0 42 30 28 4C All_Performances: F0 42 30 28 4D All_Waveseq: F0 42 30 28 54 It all ends with F7 as stated in all ...

Here´s the names and sizes of the Prorec file: * prorec2_AllPatches_Bank1 - 29.6 Kb * prorec2_AllPerformances_Bank1 - 17.7 Kb * prorec2_AllWaveSequences_Bank1 - 17.4 Kb And here are two others to compare with: * BENS_WS5_AllPatches_Bank2 - 29.1 Kb * BENS_WS5_AllPerformances_Bank2 - 17.6 ...

I hear you Odinmoon. The only thing I was afraid of was this little thing turning out to be something else, like I´ve seen before in similar places (not so intelligent as IA though). So far it´s good, so I hope that we can keep it that way.

Even if I could vote, I won´t, as this thread easily can set a fire as for political standings... A vote could be interesting, but I doubt that you have found the right forum for it.

Sincerely,
Richard

Hmm... Here´s an example of a split .syx-files:
* prorec2_AllPatches_Bank1
* prorec2_AllPerformances_Bank1
* prorec2_AllWaveSequences_Bank1

If I can see correctly, the same split names appears with other banks that do work with the WS... Weird...

Let me see... It says "Multiple sysex dumps in single file (Incompatible)"... That´s it... But so it says also with files that do work with the Legacy... I myself is planning to invest in this Legacy thing, ´cause I think it´s very very good (especially the Legacy Cell and the Wavestation), so I´m al ...

They did work on Wavestation earlier, but perhaps the files has been somewhat corrupted when waiting on a Zipdrive for a while? But if so, Daz´s program wouldn´t recognize it either, would it? Well... the program recognizes the files and is able to split them, but WS VSTi won´t load them... Strange.. ...

Thanks, Tomcat! I´ll ask him where he got the files, and whether they worked on the Wavestation or not... If they didn´t work on the Wavestation, I doubt that they will work on WavestationVSTi...

:D A friend of mine (my father, actually :wink: ) had the Wavestation a couple of years ago (and has never forgiven himself for selling it) and now has the Legacy. I tried it and it sounds more than excellent! I think he has the latest version from Korg but he is still not able to load some of the ...

I couldn´t answer the poll since I already has submitted mine to the contest... However, I urge you all to send your programs to Sharp for the competition - you´ve great chance of winning a Sample CD from Korg, since there is no voting (see Sticky - Competition Time)! You might think that your p ...
