Most of Moss users were saying it was great!!!!!

See the Moss forum is dead since Nov 2007.
The Only Korg family forum dead since then.

I have one in my Triton Classic........don't want to sell that, even with the new M3.

can you hear a difference in the sounds right off the bat when you upgrade with the moss?

Yes, definately , Triton is basically playing back samples from the ROM, MOSS is actually a synth engine (well 13 diferent synth engines) living inside the triton, so sound is more deeper & more detailed. Possibilities are endless.

Hi!

I have had some thoughts of selling my Triton and get an M3 instead, but then I always come to the conclusion that I can´t replace my MOSS, and that´s why I still play the Triton and not the M3... But, then again - I could have both the Triton/Moss and the M3 someday (hopefully).

I agree a main reason I keep my Extreme is because of MOSS

I have the M3M and I just ordered the EXB Radias

The neighborhood will be hearing some crazier tunes soon

Funny, the only and ONLY reason i have EXTREME is MOSS, otherwise
that synth would never see my room. And you are wrong!

Never, RADIAS can never replace it, it does other things, not what MOSS does.

How do these two compare then?(Radias and moss board) I have just
bought Radias-R recently and was thinking of getting a moss board for my tex, however I am put off by the limited availability and high price and the fact it is only 6 voice polyphonic, at least the Radias is 24 note polyphonic, theres nothing to work with there with 6 notes!! Also you can pick up a Z1 for less than a moss board goes for which is insane

I agree that some people are asking ridiculous prices for MOSS, but usually a Z1 goes for $500+ on eBay.....and MOSS for about $400 or so.

Apparently, MOSS is still very much in demand.

moss are going for £375 ($700 +)or more now on ebay.co.uk (Im in UK), Z1's are around £300 ($600 ish) or less 2nd hand!!
