UPDATE: Did not have to leave keyboard with a repair place instead Korg ended up swapping me a new Black SV1-73 for my keyboard. THis one works as it is supposed to. Love it !

I have figured out what is causing this. It's not a voice cancellation, it's a voice(s) Dropping. The keyboard switch that triggers a note on then off has a VERY short throw near the bottom of the stroke. Play a note then very slowly and controlled let key rise up and you will notice that note shuts ...

Korg support has advised me to bring the SV1 to an authorized service center for evaluation since it appears that I may have a ROM problem.

On my SV-1 the culprit is Grand Piano 2 factory patch # 4.2
I am in touch with Korg they have an audio sample I created to examine.

Is it just mine ? Maybe it's a serial # related thing ?

Try various acoustic piano presets and play the Ab, A, and Bb just below middle C. Hold single keys down until sample duration reaches the loop point around 3 seconds. Do you hear the click ? I do. Now what ?

The mod wheel at 0 position flutters values of 20-21 and when moved beyond it functions normally. I wonder if taking the keyboard assembly apart and cleaning the wheel will help.

How do you fix the Radias mod wheel when it is outputting a value of 20 when it should be 0. Is there a way to calibrate it or is the potentiometer failing so needs to be cleaned or replaced ?

I have noticed that very often the bottom voice of a chord drops out. I play a six note chord, 3 notes in each hand, and you don't hear the left hand pinkey note. This is really bothering me. Is anyone else experiencing this ?

My R3 right channel has decided to not make sound anymore today :( ....coincidently a day earlier the overall stereo level was lower than all my other synths in the recording session, so as a workaround I had to jack up the line gains at the console in order to get a recordable signal from the R3 ...

I've taken the memory protect off I hold Shift and key# 13 'clear song' it blinks I press once again hit play and the demo song starts playing.. I cannot figure this out. I just want to blank out a song and start from scratch.... Anyone else had this problem ?

After many many weeks just got Radias back from a reputable repair center ? They assured me over the phone nothing was wrong all working user connectivity at fault. Guess what still exactly the same as in my above post. Is there a way to do a high level reset, not just a factory patch reset ? This ...
