Thanks Smash. I've figured out that by connected the nanokey to a powered USB hub, it will power the keyboard. I just need a way to go from USB to MIDI now. Most of the USB MIDI converters need the USB end to be connected to a computer. Are there any converters where the USB end is at the keyboard?

NanoKeys - Sound without computer?

Hi. I know that the nanokey is simply a midi controller, but i'd rather not have to put it through my computer, and then out to an amp to get sound. I was wondering if there was some sort of device that i could plug the nanokeys into that gives it samples/ sound, and then run that out to an amp ...
