Lights
I believe there is a way to make the lights on the pads "dance" when you hit them. I guess it"s for the RAVE people that dig that crazy stuff. They can do different patterns. Pg 13 of the manual 'illumination mode". this could be what you are seeing.

Case
I found a very cool multi use case at Home Depot. It is a shiny silver color. The inside has removable parts in it. I then put some foam inside w spray glue. It was about $25. It is big enough for all the power adapters and footswitches.

PadKOntrol "Release Value" ??
Is it possible to have a pad trigger a sample of a drum roll with just a quick tap of the pad ? Or, do I have to hold pressure on the pad until the sample is done? Isn't that what "Release value" is for ?. If not , what is Release value ?? In the manual pg. 20, it states the parameter is NOT ...

True.
I agree. It's hard to determine what is valuable knowledge to others. I use my padK with a Yamaha Motif ES. It is really a good match. I use the pedal and about 4 to 5 different midi channels over different pads. I'd like to share this on the Yamaha forum. Is it something to share here?

light.
The pads simply light because you've touched them. In your software you need to tell it where your info is coming from. Usually in "preferences" (I assume you have loaded the Korg midi/usb driver)then it knows that signals will be coming from the pads thru the usb cable into the program you're ...

toggle ,
You can set each pad to Toggle. Noted as tgl in the display when you press Setting / SW Type. This will act as holding down the pad until you press it again.

WORST FORUM
I get the "spirit" of your response. I think it was the all caps and the "Worst Forum Ever" that puts "Us" in a defensive stance. Where "we" need to defend this forum.I want to share knowledge too. I need to get the knowledge first. I find it more satisfying to RTFM and trudge through the trail and ...
