In regards to style making/editing there is "guitar mode" which simulates many characteristics of guitar play.

I see... Must be I didnt see it cause I was reading the original manual, not the updated one from the OS update.

I advise you to return it. Get the pa900 and it will spare you needing to use this external harmonizer at all.

Isn't it possible to do this all on the keyboard itself?
I would assume, you press play on the midi file, and then do shift+record to record mp3 off the keyboard.

Does the pa600 not have mp3 recording?

To put more simply:
AFTER exiting from style record mode, make volume and tempo changes, and THEN go to the drop down menu and check "write current style settings".

Just so you know: The volume of tracks are not saved in style record mode. Only after exiting and doing the above.

Just for honesty's sakes: The psr s950 is indeed 1899 or even less, and it DOES have tap tempo.

I remember hearing in the first "demo video" from korg, Steve McNally mentioned there may be a pa900 QT in the future. Check the video on youtube

Thats how they always did it, the pa2x was still available for the full price for quite a while after the pa3x was on the market... Even more expensive than the pa3x... Go figure. They think were fools and would still buy the older one for more money... :? It might be because the pa900 just came out ...

Yes. I would advise you to return it.

The pa900 has everything of the 800 plus. For example, 4 fill ins instead of 2, bigger screen, better EQ'ing of sounds, master EQ, Chord sequencer, Lighter. New sounds, More memoery, MicroSD card slot.
