we have a drummer. all we really want is just some rhythym and synth :]

just need to know what i need so i don't find myself back and forth from guitarcenter

so as far as an interface all i need is a midi wire?

sounds good.

but i dont need an Audio interface? like for example an apogee duet?

i'm still wondering if i need a seperate A/I if i use my EMX1 as a midi controller in addition to a drm machine

(triggering keyboard parts i program in logic/garageband on my macbook through the emx1 on stage for live performance).

or if i just hook up the laptop to the emx1, and the emx1 to the pa

then i guess i'll stick to the monster instrument cables, they're not too expensive

interesting. i only like monster cuz if a cable breaks ever, you get a brand new one free no questions asked. and i haven't had one break on me in years so i just figure they do a good job making it :] my concern was lag/latency from my computer to my emx1 that's the only reason why i was wondering ...
