Im not as knowledgable as some here, sound setup wise. But could it be that when setting up your own keyboard sets, you stray too far from the ideal effects setting of each sound? eq and freq. settings. PA700

Do you find that you can get by perfectly well turning off the master eq? and if you use it - could you possible share some thoughts on "Do's" and "Don'ts" when setting the gain and the freq levels, just some general logic. I use the internal speakers in a smallish room by the way.

They sound great when everything is set properly, I wouldn't mind some feedback also. Its a complex keyboard if you are used to less expensive ones.

Many thanks, reuben, The Rhodes sounds great in the middle to low end of the keyboard with some pressure applied. Sadly I don't have a setup to use the "sound fonts" at this time.

"Rhodes like" e.piano ??

Just wondering, I quite like playing "riders on the storm" by the doors (as best I can, obviously), can you get that particular kind of e.p. sound on the pa 700, maybe with a bit of sound editing or one of the mod effects?

Had one since January. Its a deep instrument, but, having not had one in that price range before, getting the best out of it is a bit of a complex puzzle.

Would you say that each "category" of preset has an ideal input trim, say, one trim for "synth" type voices and another for more percussion/acoustic sounds (strings/mallet/hammer instruments etc), or is it even more individual than that ?? Just looking to get the least distortion/maximum clarity if ...
