Hello.

Both names are misleading, so you really need to post the links to the items.

Regards.

There are two MOSS Boards.

1. EXB MOSS (Fits in Triton Studio, Classic, Extreme and Karma)
2. MOSS TRI (Fits in all Trinities and it is already pre-installed in Trinity V3)

You need the EXB-MOSS.

What may confuses you is the fact that many sellers refer to EXB-MOSS or to MOSS-TRI as MOSS DSP or MOSS Z1 board because actually MOSS is based on DSP technology and also it is the Korg Z1's synth engine specially designed to fit in Trinities (Moss-Tri) or Tritons (Exb-Moss)

The funny thing is that even Korg themselves show the Moss-Tri on the official cover of the Exb Moss carton box.

Check my post several time ago...lol!

There was Korg Z1 great modelling synth which could be expanded to have more voices through such board I guess. So there are at least 3 types of MOSS boards: for Z1. Trinity and Triton series.

cheers

No Kmar, Z1 is the MOSS BOARD ot thats what the MOSS BOARD is, a Z1 synth.
The card on Z1 is only an expansion for 6 more voices of polyphony or 12, i
am not sure and there is ONLY 2 types of MOSS BOARDS not 3.

"DSPB-Z1" was the 6-voice DSP expansion board for the original Korg Z1 keyboard.

As mentioned, "EXB-MOSS" is for your Triton.

Pretty much all of Triton's expansion options have "EXB" somewhere in the title.

The Trinity series never used "EXB" in any of its names or expansions. It used "TRI" instead.

I would always recommend contacting the seller to confirm that it is what you think it is, though, just to make sure.
