Hello,
i write you here because i've tried everything i found on the internet and still didn't resolve this issue.
I've got a Minilogue and i'm trying to connect it to my computer and utilise the Sound Librarian software to exchange patches.
Actually i did this before, some month ago and it worked well.
Then from about december everytime i try to connect my Minilogue to computer and Sound Librarian, it shows: "Minilogue not connected".
So i tried different usb cables and nothing.
I tried to move the midi port of the Minilogue to a position within the first 10 ports and through the windows registry i did it. Minilogue is now in position 1.
But still doesn't work.
I tried also to edit the global settings as a user suggested here and set USB-Midi to USB, but still nothing.
I don't know what to do anymore so i write here looking for help.
Please let me know something if you can
Thank you!

Hi
That sounds weird. My minilogue was
Timed out when dumping data. That was
A firmware issue because I had 1.21 I
Was not able to use the librarian.
Does Your computer make a Sound when you Connect
The minilogue?
You have started the computer with and without the
Synth Connected? Not sure if it means anything, but
On my Mac the midi interface only worked if
I connected it after Powering up my Mac.
You have changed cable so that is not the case.
Hope You get it up and running
Br

Hello!
Thank you for your kind answer and your time spent in searching on it.
Yes the minilogue makes the classic windows sound when connected and i tried also changing the cable (although the first cable worked the first time and i use it for other devices regularly), but nothing.
Yep done also the "computer start" thing and also didn't work.
I use Win 10
Can be fault of some Windows update maybe?
Because when it worked it was the same Win 10 and the same computer.
Just passed some weeks or month at the most
in alternative i could try the firmware thing you said, but i've got to see how to update it, cause i can't remember. |
