No. Kronos doesn't recognize Nautilus' PCGs. _________________ Korg Kronos 88 (288gb+3gb), Korg Kronos X 61, Alesis Fusion 6HD (60gb+384mb), Hammond XK1c, Moog Slim Phatty, Behringer Model D, Access Virus B, Oberheim Matrix 1000, Novation X-Station 61, Korg Trinity Pro (with Solo-Tri), Compac Univox II, Casio MT600 and PT82. |

The Nautilus have some Rom multisamples not present in the Kronos. |

Both answers are correct. Just tested, and the Nautilus is not able to access the Kronos PCG. The Nautilus, however, is able to access and read the Kronos PCG. |

File experts!!!! What is wrong here ore what's happens????
Why must Nautilist user use PCG from Kronos and Kronos users not the reversed way?
Not NICE from KORG!! _________________ I use a Taperecorder too...... |

The Nautilus came after Kronos, so the firmware designers allowed Kronos PCG to be imported to the Nautilus, but, without a firmware update that facilitates this, the Kronos cannot read Nautilus PCGs. Since Nautilus doesn't have Karma, it cannot use the Karma part of Kronos PCG.

Well, for the most part you wouldn’t get the desired results anyway. The Nautilus has different samples so most of the voices won’t sound the same, from what little I’ve looked into it anyway.
Not very likely that Kong is going to do anything towards Kronos development or support at this juncture, unfortunately.
And from the initial analysis I’ve done, it is going to be a lengthy and intense effort to incorporate my Kronos Progs and Combi’s into my Nautilus… I’m hoping the updated PCG Tools utility (THANKS MICHAEL!) will help ease the pain, but I will find out soon how much. |
