|
|
Hi everyone. I am new to this forum. I have a problem with my Korg PA1X.
It changes key on the right hand only and go up a full tone. this does not always happen. but when playing I sometimes it will change without warning.
It does not seem to matter what style or song or Istrument it is on.
another thing it does it holds the notes . so the note is playing all the time. but again it does not do this all the time. and just happens.
I have noticed a sound like a dirty amp switch crackly beofre the key changes up. any information or things I could try would be helpful.
I have tried resetting to factory settings and thought I had cured it ,but it is doing it again now.
Cheers Danny |

Sorry to hear about this.
You could check the joystick regarding the key changes - they can cause problems.
The sustained notes can be caused by a faulty pedal - remove all pedals and see if it still occurs.
Other than that I would recommend getting a service centre to check it out.
All the best

Hi Pete, It seems you were right about joy stick . when the right hand changed key up a full tone again I moved the joystick and it corrected back to the right key. so the fault is with the joystick not sure if it a dirty connection which would account for the dirty switch sound before it changed key.
but at least I know where the problem is. it still holds notes on now again with no pedals plugged in to keyboard.
So Thanks for your help Pete.
Take Care Danny |

Great Danny
You should be able to replace the joystick.
Glad you figured it out.
Cheers
