|
|
I would like to ask if anyone knows how to use the favorites mode for the Micro X ?
There was an adendum in the box when i got it refering to this but i can't find it & Korg has neglected to add the extra info into the online documentation.
Any help with this would be apreciated as i have a performance coming up & i really need to use the favorites function.
Cheers |

ALLRIGHTY then... I thought i'd save the next guy who comes looking a bunch of frustration by putting the easy method of setting up & using favorites i worked out just now with the addendum i was just sent.
Hold down the EXIT/CANCEL button & press the GM button. All the programable buttons will light up.
By pressing the GLOBAL button & scrolling up to the last 2 pages, you can now dial in the program or combi you want as a favorite for each of the buttons;
A - E on the top row & A - C on the bottom row
Hope this is helpful. _________________ Gear list;

How many "favorites" patches can you define?
Is it 5 programs and 3 combi's or is it more than that?
Thank you
If it's not too much trouble, may I please have a copy of the addendum too? I would like to use the favorites mode for an upcoming gig. _________________ PA5X-76, Nautilus-73, Kronos-73, M3-73, Radias-R, Triton Extreme 61, CX-3, N1R, Micro-X, Kontrol49, MicroStation, T3 workstation, Mini-Korg 700s, RK100s, MS-20i controller |

Are there any further saving actions? For example, having to save global settings? Thanks in advance |

There are 8. ABCDE on the top row, and ABC on the bottom. Keep in mind, you have to enter favorites mode to reach your favorites, once you've loaded them into the 8 slots.

Very good info, actually I have 55 favorite progs, how can I order and organize them? In KARMA, I have empty banks, I simply move them to the empty banks. But in micro X, I guess we have to overwrite? _________________ Karma, Triton, Kronos II, Krome, SV-1, Micro-X, X-50, X5D, Kross 2, Grandstage, Opsix, Microkorg S, R3 |

I read Lpnalda's helpful reply re: 'favourites' When I follow his instructions
Quote: | Hold down the EXIT/CANCEL button & press the GM button. All the programable buttons will light up. |
....it doesn't happen - no special buttons light up....and I'm no further ahead
1. I guess I'd be happy if someone sent me the addendum
2. I sure could use favourites on this Micro X
3 I assume you're all talking about a Micro x and not X50
Does it matter what mode you're in when you do the above? ...well...the answer is 'no' cuz I tried them all _________________ Gear: Korg Tr76, Roland E50, M-audio 49 Key Rig, Roland BK9, Korg Micro-X. Logic for audio, Cubase for midi. |

Thank you for posting this.
I just picked up a Micro X for my live show and the inability to select a program or combi quickly was driving me nuts.
Now if we could just find a way to change the horrible display.
Regardless, I love this keyboard. |
