|
|
Hi,
Is there any way to "dump" a collection of step sequence memory presets into the Volca Bass?
I did the step record process and made 8 memory presets and now I would like to make some more but some how save the sequences.
I know that there is no way to save the stuff already in the memory but I am wondering if there is some way to start in a DAW with a collection of 8 - 16 beat clips and then load the sequences from the DAW into the Volca Bass quickly.
Thanks.
best regards,

You just sequence it via your DAW as with any external sound module then you can have unlimited number of patterns ready. If using Logic Audio I found it best to make a mapped instrument so all drum hits are within the same octave on the piano roll. |

Thanks.
I really like using these boxes because I don't have to be near the DAW.
As soon as I figured out that I can run on AA batteries and plug it in to my car stereo aux input I forgot about my DAW.
I'm learning how easy it is to record a pattern on the fly. I'm still waiting for my Beats to arrive but finally figured out that the metronome on Keys was a good start so I am using that as my timing master and now I am less concerned with having access to step sequences in memory.

Yeah, would be nice to dump sequences. I have other external midi sequencers, but the convenience of these little boxes makes me wish that they are all I need. They work great with a QY70 though. |
