|
|
Hi,
I just got my Kross 61.
Got it from Sam Ash in Miami Lakes.
I won't be able to hook it up until tomorrow afternoon.
One thing I noticed right away is the slot for the memory card.
I have a Triton Le that takes a larger size.
A quick Internet search indicates that there are three sizes
Standard
Mini
Micro.
I'm assuming that I need to purchase the mini size...is that correct?
Thanks

I only know default and micro ... and afaik it only accepts default SD cards. They come in three formats: SD, SDHC and SDXC.. please check which formats are supported too. _________________

The slot is too small for the standard size.

Ok ... that is different than most other Korg models ... but I'm sure it will be mentioned in the manual (you can download at Korg.com). _________________

It does not indicate that it is a different size.
One would think that it means the standard card.
From Korg Kross specs:
SD Card Slot
1 slot
Max: 2 GB SD Memory Card is supported
Max: 32 GB SDHC Memory Card is supported
(SDXC Memory Cards are not supported) |

I feel like a dodo.
I didn't realize there was a difference between the Smart Media card and the SD card.
My tech IQ is about a 3.
Thanks. |

Smart Media is often called CF (compact flash). It's annoying how many "standards" there are sometimes! |
