Sweetwater usually has pretty good info on expected ship dates but this time their site simply says its expected to begin shipping this summer. So it's now summer and the last day of summer is September 21. |

I don't think so. Don't see a spot for one'
A universal clamp on music desk of some sort would be a great accessory for lots of boards! |

|
|
Hi, too bad there is no provision for a music stand.
using it above my Nord 4D is the plan and it would have been ideal
this might not be the correct thread for the following?
The Quicklock stand I bought is the one NORD's booth at NAMM had many of their keyboards set up on.
It is red. It looks really great.
It comes with a second tier.
The base folds up and down (assembles) brilliantly - as if a genius designed it.
The second tier gets stuck I've tried multiple units, I still use it, however, sometimes needs a mallet and always lots of grease.
the carry bag is too thin and tears (Multiple bags tried out)
the weight is incredibly HEAVY
weighs more than my Nord Electro 4D
best thing besides the stand's looks is the stand is ROCK SOLID for a heavy handed player
but i didn't see a music stand component attached???
did I mention the red "Nord" Qicklock stand is very expensive..almost $200 Canadian. _________________ NORD Electro 4D & KORG Kross (61-key)

|

Here's an idea.
Don't laugh please!
I have a GoPro camera which has a variety of brilliantly designed mounts to mount the camera to bicycles, helmets, surf boards etc,
http://gopro.com/camera-mounts?gclid=CNO_9MLKr7kCFYl_QgodwX0Afw
One of the attachment strategies is a clamp mount designed for attachment to a tubular frame of a bike or a handlebar.
One or 2 of these would clamp right onto the handle on the back of the Kross and could subsequently be adapted to hold a lightweight music desk, a mic stand or perhaps even a second tier for something really light (like my microkorg)
If someone with better engineering skills than mine were to design such a system, I'd sure as heck be an owner! |

Thank you - I work at a hospital with a large maintenance department.
They already welded the bottom long "rack" from a Korg PA-800 (sheet) music stand to the "wire" frame of my Korg MicroArranger's music stand converting it into a far more useful (heavy-duty) stand. _________________ NORD Electro 4D & KORG Kross (61-key)
