|

Hi all.
Loving my MSampler and this may be a stupid question but how do I get samples to start on the beat/tempo and loop after 4 or 8 or whatever regardless of how long the sample is.
eg: I find a nice track and match its bpm. Then sample the bit for 4 beats.
Now I top and tail the sample start & end point till it sounds right but i'm losing/gaining time when looped over 8/12/16 bars. I cannot get it bang on.
I need this to add live drums over a sample live.
After topping and tailing samp and getting it as close as possible can i not force the MS to quantise it to start on the beat and thus stay in tempo over a full 3-5 mins. I nearly always time stretch my samples but this tempo thing is killing me !!
any advise greatly appreciated.

You can try setting the sample on one-shot mode and using the sequencer...maybe....I don't know if it's handy on live situations.... |
