just replaced the dead battery in My Korg M1 . Factory setting are not downloaded yet(not sure how) . Does anyone know if the joystick functions with or withought the factory settings installed? It only has the piano pgm now, but the joystick doesn't seem to change the sound of the piano.. is the joystick not working or is it because no program in it??
thanks

Think you need to scroll through a few sounds first - once you've installed them! You should use a sysex application to load up the M1 (similar to my T3ex).
The piano may not have any joystick control programmed. So go to different programs/combis and see if the joystick has any effect.
If it doesn't change any sound at all then I would think the stick is deffective in some way... _________________ Plugged in: Fantom 8, Jupiter-X, Jupiter 80, System-8, JD-XA, V-Synth GTv2, FA-06, SE-02, JU-06A, TR-09, VT-4, Go:Livecast, Rubix44, Shure SM7b, Push2, Ableton 11 Suite, Sibelius, KRK Rokit 5, |
