I'm not sure this is the right section for this but i tried the mac users section and got no response..
I have recently purchased a Korg Zero 4 mixer to use with a set of 1210s and Traktor Scratch Pro.
What i want to know is will i be able to connect the mixer to a Macbook or will i need a Macbook Pro(with a firewire port)?
Is there any way of connecting it to a normal Macbook(no firewire port)?
Thanks in advance.
P.S:I haven't actually got the mixer yet so i'm not sure what other ports/connections are available to me |

Hi,
I was wondering if you figured anything out regarding the Korg Zero 4 and firewire. Do you know if it is required to run the Korg Zero 4 via firewire or can you convert the firewire to USB with an adaptor and have it work that way as well? Please let me know. The reason I ask is because I just bought a new laptop and realized that it does not have a firewire input (I already own the korg zero 4. My old laptop had a firewire input). Please let me know if you've figured anything out.
Thanks,
Yoni |
