Surely there is a way of getting hold of this and then sending it off to be manufactured somewhere.
I can imagine there is some kind of patent issue with this, but if anyone know's anything about this it could help out alot of people, including myself.

Sadly, the startup costs for manufacturing a board like this are very high and the demand is fairly low. Plus, as you say, the design would have to be licensed from Korg, which may be impossible. They stopped making these boards for a reason - to force people to buy their newer models that use USB storage - and I doubt they would want the boards back on the market, as it would mean more people could use the existing Tritons and those people would have little reason to buy their newer Triton models.
I'm betting that the stock of existing EXB-SCSI boards are all we will ever see on the market. |
