I have this in as a problem with Korg themselves but wondered if anyone here might be able to help.
I'm running the SV-1 editor on an iMac 2.93 Intel machine running 10.5.8. When I first installed the editor it worked fine.
However (and I think possibly following a system update from Apple), now the editor starts and states that it's looking for the keyboard but hangs there. However, booting up Logic, I see that MIDI data is being received from the SV-1.
I have the latest version of both editor and MIDI driver installed, btw.
I also tried installing these on a friend's Macbook Pro of similar spec. No problems. So it's not the USB lead or (presumably) the SV-1 itself.
Are there any hidden files the SV-1 software placed on the Mac when it was installed which may need trashing, like a prefs file for instance? I can't seem to find any such but that's the only thing I can think of right now. It's extremely frustrating.
Any suggestions very welcome - and thanks in advance. |
