I am looking for someone who may be using a Korg Tr and Sonar. The Korg is not responding to the Sonar patch commands. All of the patches are downloaded into Sonar but they do not correspond with the keyboard. Is there something in the Korg that needs to be set to receive the command? I have already gone through everything with the tech support people at Cakewalk (Sonar) and they referred me back to Korg. Of course they don't have a live support system or even a stinkin' e-mail address. So if anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Thanks A-man |

In Global mode on the TR ensure the MIDI Filter settings are not trashing Program Change messages and also set the Bank Mapping mode to 'Korg' rather than 'GM' or 'GM2'. I don't have a TR so can't give you exact screen numbers/names, but this standard setup for any Korg workstation.
HTH,
