|
|
Yes, it's been a long, hard wait, but it's almost over. On March 17th, we will be releasing the long-anticipated
"Chemistry Volume 3 - Groove Injection!" set of combis for the Karma Workstation and the Triton Series (when
used in conjunction with KARMA Triton software).
Chemistry 3 includes 64 new fully KARMA-fied combis, and 128 new GEs.
Chemistry 3 is a collaboration between three people: Paul Osborn, the developer of Chemistry 1 and Chemistry 2,
has contributed 32 new combis, with 23 of them actually being recreations of some of his work for the Korg
OASYS - so you're actually getting a little piece of the OASYS for your Karma/Triton! Paul also created over 100
new GEs for his 32 combis as well.
The second 32 combis come from Eric J. Sawyer, a veteran KARMA programmer and forum contributor who has
recently joined Karma Lab as a Sound Designer. Eric also contributed some new GEs to the collection.
The third person is myself, acting as Executive Producer and Editor, who spent about 4 to 5 hours on each and
every one of these 64 combis, working with the effects, the KARMA settings, the scenes, the controller
assignments, and the mixes, in order to make them the best they can possibly be.
Paul and Eric have different tastes and approaches, and the combination really works well (in my opinion),
yielding a very strong set of combis with some killer grooves for jamming or creating musical pieces. By
the release date, I should have some demo clips for you as well.
More information can be found on the Chemistry 3 page, including a preliminary version of the User's Guide.
So stay tuned, the long wait for some new KARMA-fied combis for the red Karma and KARMA Triton Software is
almost over! _________________ Stephen Kay - KARMA Developer • Karma-Lab - karma-lab.com

Unfortunately, I've had to extend the release date by one day - I simply need a bit more time getting all the files and pages together. It doesn't help that I had the flu last week and I'm only starting to get over it.
So: New Release date: noon EST on March 18th Tuesday.
Thanks for your understanding. _________________ Stephen Kay - KARMA Developer • Karma-Lab - karma-lab.com

Well, it's nice that you figured that out But really, I was just trying to get the store pages operational, but it's nearly impossible to do without actually making them operational.
Anyway, I'm not quite ready with the files - anyone who orders, please understand I'm still finalizing them and will send them to you as soon as possible.
The problem is, that the red Karma just doesn't have enough User GE locations. I've been trying to figure out ways to provide the files in several different formats so that you can load all 4 of Karma-Labs sound sets at the same time, or load several of them at the same time with the EXB04/05 set of Combis and GEs, etc. Not easy. But I'm close... _________________ Stephen Kay - KARMA Developer • Karma-Lab - karma-lab.com

Only if you send in a photo of yourself (or your wife) modeling it. _________________ Stephen Kay - KARMA Developer • Karma-Lab - karma-lab.com
