Greetings, and happy St Paddy's Weekend! Very Happy

I have not been around that much as I wanted, simply because I was too busy.

Now, after more than 3 years of mindbending practical and technical studies of photography and archival fine art printing, I took the plunge and since 1st of March 2008 OCEANVIEWSTUDIO is officially registered and in business. Very Happy

The first news worth mentioning is that my work will be exhibited on the PHOTOKINA from 23rd to 28th September 2008. So, if you are interested in fine art printing and are around, by all means, do pop in at:

Halle 10.1 Stand C031/C033 for a chat if you like.

One of the main european distributors for Hahnemuehle fine art papers in Europe asked me to come to the show with him to have my color work exhibited and produced exclusively on his booth, and of course, I am more than happy to do that. Very Happy

I would like to thank all of the nice folks around here who continued to encourage my endeavours in photography, but in particular Sharp and Daz, the amazing Sioux! (who constantly kicked my butt to go forward with that!), Lorenzo, Diego, Chordial and last not least Fingers (The Colorbarn in the UK) who printed my first more serious attempts a few years ago on canvas.

It has been an incredible journey so far. Back in June 2004 Stephen Kay opened the Digital Photography section of the KARMA forum when I got interested in this matter and in February 2005 I started to get my hands dirty with a small point and shoot camera. It's all your fault Stephen! Laughing

Stay tuned for further news this year and again thank you so much for your friendship and encouragment!

Best wishes
~^..^~

Hey Bear!!!

Great, I'm so glad you're finally in business with what you wanted to do!
I tought you wanted to enter the music business, too, but I hope now you'll have time to keep on your music passion.

I'm very happy for you!
Don't forget to post the link to your website when it will be done, to keep us updated about your works.

regards

Very Happy Thanks Folks!

Yeah Website.... a daunting task in deed. However, it will be some time, but I heard today that we get a 3Mbit line here in September. No more dial up!
