Hello guys.I have my Trinity Plus Pro for more than two years. And I love it, but I have problems with the two sliders, especially the value slider. How can I replace the potentiometers and what are their values. Also are they linear or logaritmic.
And is there any way of doing this work without removing all these cables and things inside?
Thanks _________________ SG |

Hi
It's a bit of a strip down job i'm afraid to get to the sliders. The keyboard is built by turning the keyboard over, the top, and assembled from the front panel back so buttons screen, keys, sound boards, base. So to get at the front you have to do the reverse of all that. Then remember where everything goes as you put it back together.
If your going to do this we suggest taking pictures at each stage of dissassembly to remeber how it all goes back.

Yeah...thanks a lot.I was afraid of that.So...I've got to do the job.
And of course, I'll make the pics.Or maybe I'll make video...
But does anyone know the values of the potentiometers...Because I want to buy them before I get my Trinity apart... _________________ SG |

Changing those parts is a big job ... but doable; 3 hours give or take. If I were you I'd spray them first with a good contact cleaner and see if that fixes things. You can do that from the top. Just be careful not to over spray. After spraying, work the sliders 20 times or so. The sliders are 10K's most likely log tapper.
PM me and I'll send you a .jpg of the schematic for that PCB later today if you like. |

I thought of that but this may work for the volume slider, but the value slider is very bad...Actually I think that the volume slider is not the original one because it's shorter. But I don't know who has replaced it.I bought my trinity on second hand. Thanks a lot for the values.I'll PM. _________________ SG |
