Here's what I want to do. Connect the microkontrol to my computer via USB and control Live. And connect the MIDI output of the MK to my drummachine and output MIDI information from Live to my drummachine. Is this possible? So far the MIDI out seems to turn off as soon as I plug in a USB cable. |

If it’s anything like the padKontrol (which I think it is), when connected by USB, the MIDI ports become a MIDI interface. If you go into Live’s MIDI prefs, you should see a listing for mK MIDI out under Outputs. Turn Track on for that port and you should be good to go. _________________

yup that worked thanks. I was originally trying it with reason with no success but with Live it was a breeze. |
