|
|
Hi everyone i have a question:
I own a Prophecy (which i love), but i came accross the chance to buy a Clavia NordLead 2x. I've only seen and heard the Nord on Youtube, so i cant really get an idea of how good it sounds.
Also, i have no idea how it feels (i love the feel of korg synths, i have a TR also, so i'd like it to be similar)
The question is: could i (and should i) replace the prophecy with the nord lead? Is it better or not? Can anyone make a pros/cons list?
Thanks alot |

I own a Solo board in my Trinity and also the NR2x. both are great synths that will compliment each other. I would not trade one for another.
you may get the NL2x for it's
- interface, which is one of the most straight forward among VA and that pitch stick
- part and polyphony
- that higher res Nord 2 sounds, that some even prefer the older Nord generation
keep the Prophecy for it's:
- multi engine
- deadly mono sound
- great looks and unique log controller
since you said that you love the Prophecy, may be it's better to keep it. it's easier to get the NL2x, but harder to get the Prophecy these days. but it's up to you. |
