If anyone has anything to add to these I will edit this original post so that any new tips or corrections get added to this post.
Model Specific
<Keys>
'Step Sequencing'
The equivalent of step sequencing can be achieved by:
1. Clear all notes and motion recording
2. Set active step mode and disable all but one note.
3. Switch to record.
4. Play the required note.
5. Record your filter settings for that note
6. Go back to step mode enable the next note in the sequence and disable the one just recorded
7. Repeat steps 2 to 6 until you have your complete sequence.
<Beats>
Lock the Stutter speed to fractions of the tempo by pressing [Func] when you turn the STUTTER TIME knob.
<Bass>
Lock the LFO frequency to fractions of the tempo by pressing [Func] when you turn the LFO RATE knob.
Range is from 64 (LFO cycles over 64 beats ie 4 bars) to 1.4 (LFO cycles 4 times for every beat)
<Sample>
A similar effect to the stutter on the Beats can be produced using the LOOP function and adjusting the AMP Decay and attack and sample startpoint and length
<General>
Working with Midi
If you want to silence sequences until you are ready to play them from a Midi Sequence [Func] + Clear All will toggle the sequence on/off so press once on your volca(s) before pressing play on your midi sequence then activate the volca sequence(s) by pressing [Func] + Clear All again
If you are using Volca sample with other volcas make sure you set the other volcas to midi channels above 10 as the sample uses channels 1 - 10 for its samples 1 - 1[/u]
