+1 Thanks Qui for this newest tutorial.
I also just watched your tutorial on modifying a Karma GE using the control surface. I needed a quick way to play a fifth on a piano sound and have it trill those 2 notes alternately as if doing a sextuplet roll. Using your tutorial, a simple arpeggiator in the Karma, and the Latch button, I achieved this much-needed functionality.
Now I can play and hold that classic rock piano fill with one quick hit on the keyboard then get back to continuing the bass guitar lines. Thanks!

Thanks for the remarks. This was part 1 that explains the basics of saving and loading sounds, i already had feedback from a couple of users that they are now experimenting with lots of the free sounds they can find online, which makes it totally worthwile, because i hoped to show that it isn't scary to experiment with your kronos because you can always revert to your current kronos state and you will never loose anything if you are doing something wrong (like overwriting a factory program bank unintendedly).
Part 2 will get a lot more indepth and will focus on how to create your own sound set based on the favorites you will audition in the sound sets you download without having to load them in the Kronos. Also it will explain what steps to take if you want to merge sound sets that are using the same locations or which step to take when using sounds that have missing samples.
very good video, good info also ! Glad that you plan to go a bit further with these tutorials. Maybe with all of us educated about file stuff, you will be able to release your new and much looked forward to Combis ? include instructions for loading into what ever version of Kronos you have. Maybe kind of like the instructions for Exs17,18 Krs07 has in the pdf.
Kronos X73, iPad, Fishman Triple Play, Shruthi synth kit, Korg Pa4x, MatrixBrute
Qui! Thank you so much for your detailed and very understandable video on saving sounds and doing a back up.
I think I can speak for most here that your generosity in sharing your knowledge and sound creations with all of us it very much appreciated.
So Thank You again and please keep up the good work!
