So preorders are open now in Australia and the sampler is $100 dollars more expensive.
This makes me think there won't be an option to change firmware but on the other hand maybe there will be but it will just cost $100?
Thoughts?

When it was announced, back in september, the electribe sampler was quoted to be ~15% more expensive than the regular one, in Europe.
Now that availability seems around the corner for both units, prices are the same at major online resellers :

That makes sense if the hardware is identical, except for the color scheme.
OTH, some people suggested that the sampler was more expensive because of the included samples license fee. Or because of extra onboard RAM.
2 days to go.

Sounds like Korg maybe jumping onto the bandwagon of the Great Australian Bite.

Has yours arrived yet? Dawsons are having trouble getting hold of one for me. I would like a video review of one if you have one.
