Cannot enter update mode

Hi!

I am trying to update to OS2.1 but I cannot enter update mode.

When I press FLUX, HH and STEP 1 and turn on the monotribe, SYNTH, BD and SN are not lit.

Instead, step 1 is flickering, then the monotribe seems to turn off.

What goes wrong? How do I get in update mode? I read some other people experience the same problem but I can't find the solution.

No idea, might try putting in some new batteries

Finally found it. Fresh batteries did the trick. Thanks!
