I just acquired an i30 and have the following issues:
1. Melody notes are often cut short when full accomp is enabled
2. I am unable to use my (Technics) expression pedal.
3. Accomp volume sliders don't work
Any help appreciated.

Congrats on getting the i30 - wish I still had mine!!!!
I don't know if I can really be of much help here....

1. Melody notes are often cut short when full accomp is enabled

I think I experienced this a couple of times and it sounds like you are running out of polyphony.
If this happens all the time then we may be looking at a different problem.

2. I am unable to use my (Technics) expression pedal.

I used a Yamaha FC-7 which I am sure worked OK - I am not familiar with the Technics model

3. Accomp volume sliders don't work

This may require some service, however, you could (and perhaps should) completely re-install the latest OS as sometimes a used keyboard can have issues related to loading incomplete or corrupted data.

Thanks Pete,
I might not be doing the right thing with the Expression Pedal, but the User Manual is not exactly clear on the subject. I would be glad to have the latest OS update if I knew how to check what I aleady have.
