Introducing myself here

Hi all,
I thought that it would be a good place to say hello and introduce myself.
I'm a professional musician, I've been playing/programming professionally since the
early '80's when I was around 19 years old.
I have toured a lot in the last 20 years and have MD'd several live shows/tours.
More recently I have developed my songwriting and production chops, well since
about 2002 anyway.
I have a fairly good electronics knowledge, so also build / repair my studio gear and
keyboards, when possible.
I hope to contribute whenever possible, I have many years of experience both in the
studio and live so as a dedicated "gear junkie" I hope to be helpful !!
I keep right on top of technology and have used/owned everything from a Yamaha CS10
and Prophet V to a Jupiter80 and Virus Ti2 !
I also started my career on 2 inch analog tape ( remember that ) and have operated
several systems through ADAT - DA88 - Pro Tools.
I now run Logic Studio / Pro Tools on a Mac pro 8 core and I'm a big fan of UAD plugins
amongst many others !
