Hi

Can someone point me to a site / document / book which would better explain Mono/Poly synthesis ? I just bought it and right at the start I'm struggling to understand oscillator modulation. The manual is lacking not really telling what all the various modulation methods are doing.

It's a fantastic synth judging by the presets and number of parameters but its overwhelming in the same time.

Any info will be appreciated.

After using it for some years now, I've found it to be very simple to understand and create sounds with in comparison to other synths.

The best and fastest way to learn to use it is to study the default preset patches. You can simply start with any given patch, then try changing different settings to see what changes that causes, and how that setting effects the sound.
Next is to study the modulation matrix area. You can try changing the amounts + or - of various settings within that, to see how it effects different parameters.
The mod matrix can be very complex at first, but just keep trying different settings out within it to see their effect on the over-all tone.
It's best to actually be playing the keys with your fingers when doing this kind of examination of presets, and not just using the included audition sequences or some midi loop. There's a reason for that, I won't go into now.

Like any other synth, it takes time to learn it. The best way imo is to simply try picking apart the included presets to see how they were done, and moving knobs, changing settings, etc.
