What keyboard stand For your Kronos do you use mine broke!

My Quiklock stand broke. Not while playing but as I was packing up the cast piece that is grey in colour just fell apart (it holds the pin that adjusts the height. Its a few years old but I am a bit shocked. I only ever use a keyboard on it no heavier than my KronosX73 and I am careful and not a hard player if anything the opposite.
So what do people use and recommend. This wasn't the lightweight model either.
cheers

For standing up I use an Ultimate Apex, for sitting down one of those K&Ms which is basically just a table with no top - four legs held together by a frame. Super solid.
Very happy with both. The Ultimate can have a little jiggle to it when the stage is bouncy and people are dancing, but that's probably also because I need it at the top position with my 88.

Hello,

I use Hercules Z stand double-tier model KS410B:

For two keyboards in first level I put Kurzweil PC3LE 88 (it's heavier) in second level is Kronos X 73. Everything is ok in aspect of stability, but I have to stay when I play Kronos.
Good luck for new stand!

It holds 3 keyboards incl the Kronos88, and at home a laptop on top. Perfectly stable and strong

+1

I use the spider pro with a kronos 73 and a V-Synth GT, I also mount the Ipad on the top and it's very stable and solid.

I use the Ultimate Support I.Q. 3000. It cost about $100 and it only holds one keyboard but it's really strong. I don't like the plastic end caps though. Some are now broken.

I have (2) stands that I use for my Kronos 73X:
On Stage KS7365 2 Tier - which I use for my studio very sturdy

On Stage K7150 - which I use when gigging, rehearsal also a heavy duty stand.

Both are very reasonably priced at Sweetwater.

I've been using Invisible stands since the late '80s. I've never found anything better. But as time marches on they're getting almost impossible to find, so now that I need a new stand, I'm looking at the Onstage KS7350 with the KSA7550 second tier. As a trained pianist, the one this that I loathe most is the keyboard bouncing side-to-side; many of the stands today do this. (The Apex is probably the worst offender) Second is the front-to-back rocking. (Most of the X strands do this.)

The Z stands are solid as a rock. No movement. My only criticism is that they have a fairly large front-to-back footprint, which is why I'm looking at the 7350- it's the smallest of the bunch. That said, a secondary issue is the weight capacity of the second tier- 60 pounds is (just) barely adequate for the Kurzweil K2500. I can't really blame Onstage for that- ALL the manufactures are giving a big middle finger to those of us that have older, heavier keyboards.

I'm using the Spider Pro as well. Really nice stand, although the arms can wiggle a little when playing. If I'd have to choose again I think I would choose the ultimate apex as well, because the arms look more sturdy.

My Apex is better than any X stand I've ever tried as far as bouncing/rocking goes. It's pretty good, but not when the actual stage wobbles from people jumping. But for sure, the Z or A stands are a lot better for stability! The A type I use when sitting down is like a house, it doesn't move at all. I can't get one that would be good for my height when standing though. I play with only my K88 so I need it up top and I'm 2 meters tall (6'6"/6'7").

As far as stability goes, I've never found better than this:

I have a very old one that allowed me to have 2 more tiers but they've since discontinued that.
