WD Global, Increased pickup precision / sound enhancement

Post by winged EEL »

From the Korg.com site RE: WaveDrum Global

"Increased pickup precision provides improved dynamic range for low and high pitches, as well as enhanced response for soft sounds, making the instrument more sensitive"

"Fundamental sounds such as acoustic instruments have been enhanced"

Does this mean that all of the original older patches from ( WD-X and Oriental) will sound better with these improvements?

The short answer is, Yes.

The increase in sensitivity, and improvements in output level controls, are a benefit to all the programs.
