I would like to know if anybody would think it would be cool to see a EXi Prophecy/Z1/MOSS Legacy plugin with osc menus like exb-moss on the tritons. I think it would be cool especially since it would have the brass and woodwind models. Free would be awesome or moderately priced too. Hell Korg should have offer a reasonable priced to upgrade your Oasys with Kronos like updates they would be providing a sort of non-obsolescence like Kurzweil does. Just saying I guess I'm just a product/idea dreamer. I added a poll if anyone would like to take it.

It would be totally cool. To help pay for my OASYS, I sold a pair of Tritons and the EXB MOSS. The EXB was pretty fun to dive into. I also have the Kronos and I'm still waiting to see if Korg is actually going to add a new sound engine to it or not.

Yeah I mean I understand most of the models are technical in the EXi's AL-1,MOD-7,etc. Maybe it was the crude but rawness of it. To me the Z1 has a sonic character that differs it from EXB-MOSS or Oasys/Kronos probably the hardware I don't know.

The EXB MOSS was the same engine as the Z1, as far as I know. Just 6 voice poly, opposed to 12 (or 18 with the expansion). Am I mistaken? I remember trying the Z1 and was happy to see a lot of the same presets, like "War Birds" on the MOSS board. I believe it played all Z1 programs. Obviously, the Triton didn't have the X/Y pad, but the guts seemed the same.

Yeah the guts are the same the triton effects were better. But there were certain aspects to the Z1 that stood out more then on the exb-moss. I must admit I'm a Z1/MOSS junkie
