Hi
I just bought a 2nd hand Trinity plus.

What i want to do is set the midi channel of each track on seq mode manually.

I use to play live and I need this in order to use a midi controller with the Trinity at the same time, but playing different sounds in each keyboard.

Thanks in advance guys.

Press Seq button, then the P2 button.

Manuals are all available here: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=45892

I can't change the midi channel.
I can't figure out what i need in order to be able to assign a different midi channel to each track.

For example, I want track1, track2 and track3 to be in midi channel 1, track4 and track5 in midi channel 2

This is because I want to have layers and splits in my trinity, but it doesn't let me change the midi channels in seq mode, neither in combi mode.

What should i do?

In Seq mode, press Edit, then P2. The Midi channels are shown across the middle.

Alternatively, in Combi mode, press Edit, then P1. The Midi channels are along the bottom.

You have seen and tried these?

Yes i tried that thousands times before and the keyboard doesn´t allow me to change the midi channels.

I read that could be the joystick calibration but I did the recalibration and it doesn´t work.

I really need help.

P.S. I update to the most recent version of OS. 2.4.1

there area lot of messed up trinity's out there. inexperienced people have messed with em using duct tape and superglue and wedging rubber into things, every triinty i buy i assume its broke. but i have a million spare parts to fix em correctly. sounds like you need a spare one.

i just went to seq mode and P2 of edit and i show all midi channels for each part. i then tried to see if i could use the same channel for more than one part and that works also. combi mode is working great with my 5 modules and can assign all channels to whatever i want. sounds like you need a synth doctor.
