Kronos error- Enough memory not available on medium.. HELP!!

Post by abhi30196 »

Hello Kronos masters,

i was recording the audio track of a song in the sequencer mode through a mic. Halfway through the recording stopped and i got an error-
"Enough memory not available on medium" and then i haven't been able to record audio. However midi is being recorded.
I checked the disk mode and around 14G data is still available and only 31K has been used. So i am really confused. I have tried rebooting several times.

Thanks,
Abhishek

If you have a lot of saved sequenced songs in your directory, you will fill it up with data, like I did recently.

You may need to open a new directory in disk mode, which gives you a 'blank sheet of paper'

Others may explain it in more detail, but that is what I think is happening to you.

Cheers

so in the disk mode i should just set up a new directory and save everything in that??
So i do i need to save it from sequencer mode againor just copy the previously saved file via utility to the new directory??

1.press disk

2.press utility

3.on drop down tab on the top right press create directory

4.name it......

5.dont load your other songs,

6. The sequencer is now empty. Create new music and save it in your new directory.

.........I hope this solves the issue.

another reason to increase the events the sequencer can handle and use the memory available rather than a limit of 400,000 (i think thats right). sounds a lot, but not in the real world.
