Can I actually edit multisamples?
There is № 256 Syn-Flute Pad multisample that I like, but there is a bit noise in the beggining that I don't like. Is there any opportunity to edit this multisample and get rid of the noise.

Enable "Start Offset" for the multisample. This triggers the waveform at the start of its defined loop (the sustain phase), rather than triggering the attack portion first.

No, Start Offset is a simple tick box.
Not the Level control (to the right of it). That is a separate, unrelated parameter.
The manual states:
"Start Offset determines the point from which a multisample will be started when it is played.
"If this is checked, the multisample will be started from the point fixed for each multisample." (In other words the beginning of the sustain loop.)
"If this is unchecked, the multisample will be started from the beginning of the waveform." (Including the natural attack+decay part of the sample).

I do have a Trinity, and the SynFlute multisample is what I'd expected it to be. And enabling Start Offset correctly erases the attack portion of the sample (which I presumed you meant by the "noise at the beginning").
Have you reverse analysed the programming of the preset that uses it? The "noise" could be due to the way the preset is programmed rather than the multisample itself.
Best way would be to initialise a preset, then select the SynFlute waveform for a single osc, with filters and EGs wide open so no modulation takes place, and without effects.

OMG))) ofcos I analised the preset, turned off all FXs and so on, the problem is that synflute is bloody good sound itself, but that flutish-breath acustic-like effect in the beggining souds just like a noise in preset with FXs and ruin the whole picture.Timo wrote:I do have a Trinity, and the SynFlute multisample is what I'd expected it to be. Is there any way to tell which FX is emphasizing the "chiff"? Some particular band in EQ or an artifact of doubling harmonics in exciter? If you can isolate the cause (in FX) you can eliminate it.
