Couple experiments

Post by Bertotti »

Well I have the extension cable it is a bit flimsy and I don not think it will with stand much repeated use. Really the end needs to be much more sturdy. I would suggest going to a full size sd card and a solid push to eject end.

No drilling or cutting on my WD. A lot of possibilities but I tacked a clip in just to see if i would use it and yes it has it's uses but I wont use it enough to justify modifying my case so it is out.

Frankly I have more fun using effects and running them into other devices. I can see how waterdrums experiment of running his out but back into one of the piezo/triggers could be fun. I didn't try that but if the bug gets me again that is what I will try.

Anyway for those you you modding away enjoy, my modding journey with the WD is done, for now, with no lasting or visual evidence other then our talks here.

I am going to delve into more of the guitar pedals I have for the WD, should be fun as well.

But next I need to finish a guitar amp I have been building. Enjoy everyone!

I don't know if your kidding or not. I tried, I wasn't into something I cared to pursue. Waste of time? Didn't you learn from it? What did I do that wasted your time. Your pics were for anyone that wanted to try and you may still get some others interested. I assume you mean our PM's well I'm sorry but not everyone has the same goals.

i m not kidding.
and I do mean the personal mail info for you .
You have been the only one who talked and talked about modding ,
and in the end it was only hot air.
Well , what I learnt from that is:
I am on this forum to give info to people ,
you seem to be on the forum to get entertained
by people , who answer your fantasy questions .
(eg. second synth next to your non existing KRONOS , modding WD and more.)

+ I learnt , that Im not gonna waste my time with you anymore .
thanx John for me that was it.

Good bye, enjoy, I mean it. Not everyone will be as thrilled to mod as you. At least I gave it a shot and wasted cash doing so. As for Kronos it was a desire, a lot of people answered my questions and I appreciate it, in the end they saved me a small fortune. I appreciate your help as well but the mods you can keep. I am not sure what you expected, and I don't care, just keep in mind not everyone will take to the WD in the way you have. Truthfully I probably wouldn't have gone through with it if you hadn't pushed me along so thank you. And goodbye.
