Program Error for all the Acoustic Pianos - top notes sticky

Found the Program error on L/R Piano that makes the top notes sustain all the time and it is also I believe on all ACOUSTIC Pianos such as A.Pianos, Romance Pf, etc.
There seems to be a setting at +INF which should be maybe +99 or some lesser value?
Using the editor open L/R Piano, Tab AMS Mix, then tab Common Key Track,
The setting High-Top is +Inf which must cause a sustain for notes about the High Break of D#6.
No idea what any of that AMS mix High Top is about... but it just looks wrong and exactly those notes have faulty sustain all the time... my USB socket (on my brand new microSTATION) is broken so I cannot easily edit and check myself.

I'm not sure but I believe that on a real grand piano the highest notes will have sustain, so this could be intentional.
I haven't got a MicroStation so can't check it out though.

No. It is a fault.

Well if you say that it is only the pianos that have it, and it is on more or less every piano, then it would have to have been programmed intentionally, as there is no setting that would just affect 'all pianos' like that.

In fact it is intentional. There is a feature called HOLD, editable via editor but switchable also via MS itself (Prog Edit > OSC Common > Hold). It enable users to hold a specific range of the keyboard, defined with hold bottom and hold top key parameters.
Right from the Parameter guide, pdf page 92:
"Using Hold with Acoustic Pianos:
Hold is also useful for simulating the top octaves of an
acoustic piano, in which notes always sustain until they fade
out naturally, regardless of how long you hold the key.
The “Hold Bottom Key” and “Hold Top Key” parameters
are designed for exactly this purpose. They let you limit the
effect of the Hold parameter to a specific range of the keyboard."
