Music Creator 5

Hi
I've connected my Microstation to my pc and it is seen by Music Creator OK.
Does anyone have experience of this combination as I'm struggling to figure out how to get it to work beyond basic stuff. I'd like for example to play MIDI song files through the Micro Station but can't.
I'm struggling to select the right patches on even a basic tune that I've input - how do I select the right category and sound on the MicroStation via Music Creator rather than doing it manually on the synth?
Any help would be much appreciated.
